No presentations for this meeting.

The members received a link to the Dufferin County report to their Health & Human Services committee.  The report states that Dufferin will recognize and support Choices Shelter in their men's program no further action will be taken by the committee at this time in this regard.   

The Mayor and Councillor Sherwood also discussed the presentation recently provided by SHIP and Mr. Carter advised of a report from the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness which mentions Dufferin County's services.  

A meeting invite will be released to the Clergy members for a roundtable discussion tentatively for Friday November 12.  The invitation will be sent out this week by the Administrator to allow for a central flow of information and RSVPs.

Several stakeholders will be invited to the next committee meeting in 2 weeks on November 17 to participate in a round table discussion to assist in finding solutions to some challenges and gaps in finding immediate emergency shelter for those in need.

No updates as the sub-committees have not recently met. 

Mayor Brown provided a general overview of his discussions with M. Wrathall at the University of Guelph on the survey responses received.  Data analysis will be shared with the committee at the end of the week and the full final report will be available at the end of November. 

The committee received the information and newspaper article on men's homelessness. 

Councillor Joe Andrews circulated a document from the City of Greater Sudbury on their Encampment Strategy and Action Plan for the committee to review.
