We would like to acknowledge the treaty lands and territory of the Williams Treaty Nations and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize that Dufferin County is the traditional territory of the Wendat and the Haudenosaunee, and is home to many Indigenous people today.

The Town of Orangeville received a total of five nominations, four of which were for existing members of the Committee. As per the 2025 Accessibility Champion Award Criteria, under provisions, members of Access Orangeville and Town of Orangeville staff are not eligible for nomination.

• Recommendations:

  That the Committee selects (insert name(s)) for the 2025 Accessibility Champion Award; and

  That the Committee proceed with connecting with the recipient(s) to inquire about how the recipient(s) choose to distribute the $300 donation.
